FAFSA UPDATES
FAFSA
The FAFSA will become fully available to all students and families by Dec. 1. Once available, your student should fill out the FAFSA using OSU's school code of 003170 to maximize scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
Before completing the FAFSA, your student will need to create an FSA ID, which serves as their legal signature when completing the FAFSA. They can visit the Federal Student Aid website to get started.

Common Application: Enables students to apply for admission to multiple schools with one application
OSU application: Serves as application for both admission and scholarships at OSU
Enrollment Deposit
OSU's enrollment deposit for incoming freshmen opens Dec. 1 for students planning to start in fall 2025. This $300 deposit is essential for housing registration — room assignments will be made based on deposit submission date and time, housing and roommate preferences and availability.
Partial refunds of $250 are available if canceled by May 1 for summer and fall entering students or Dec. 15 for spring entering students.
Students can submit their enrollment deposit in the application portal to secure their spot!
Application Fee Waiver
OSU accepts ACT, SAT, and NACAC fee waivers. For students who qualify for free or reduced lunch, you may also request an application fee waiver on their behalf. Please email or mail an official waiver or letter confirming the student’s eligibility.

Cowboys First
Students can explore all that OSU has to offer during Cowboys First,an event for prospective, first-generation students and their families.
We encourage your students to join us on Friday, Nov. 8 to discover how OSU can support your student's journey to becoming a Cowboy, with resources and opportunities tailored for first-generation students.
Fall Senior Design Expo
Your students are invited to explore the incredible work of our CEAT seniors at the Fall Senior Day Expo! Join us on Friday, Nov. 22 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at the ENDEAVOR facility to see innovative projects firsthand.
Junior Day
With the incredible demand for The Boys From Oklahoma concert series in Stillwater, OSU Junior Day has been rescheduled for Apr. 26. This is a great opportunity for high school juniors to explore OSU, learn about our majors and get a taste of campus life. We can’t wait to welcome your students!
VIRTUAL EXPERIENCES
Future Freshmen Webinar Series
Your students are invited to take part in our ongoing webinar series exclusively for incoming freshmen. These sessions will answer relevant questions about the admissions process and becoming an OSU Cowboy. All sessions begin at 7 p.m. CST. Registration links are below!
We are now accepting applications for Freshmen in Transition (FIT), the Ferguson College of Agriculture's Living Learning Program. Students will live with fellow Ferguson College of Agriculture freshmen, FIT Student Academic Mentors (FIT SAMs) and community mentors, who will help them become engaged and involved. In addition, students will work with peers, faculty and staff through academic, extracurricular, professional, social and service activities that promote personal growth and development. CEAT Living and Learning Programs
Applications are now open for our CEAT Living and Learning Programs where first-year students majoring in the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology can take advantage of our dedicated Living Learning Program in Parker Hall.
The recently renovated residence hall features traditional-style living with specialized services and programs, including mentoring with upper classmates (PEATEs), free on-site tutoring and regular interaction with CEAT faculty and staff through socials and presentations.
OSU Agriculture Microbiome Program
The Agriculture Microbiome Program (AMP) will introduce 9th and 10th grade students and STEM teachers to the microbiome sciences that promise to improve agricultural productivity and reduce the environmental impact of agriculture. Participants will enjoy a variety of interactive virtual modules and a week-long hands-on summer camp on the OSU-Stillwater Campus. Students will develop laboratory and presentation skills to share what they learned with their communities.
Thoma Scholars Program
We encourage students from select counties in Northwest Oklahoma, the Texas Panhandle, and Eastern New Mexico to apply for the prestigious Thoma Scholars Program by the recently extended Dec. 15 deadline. This highly competitive full-ride scholarship covers tuition, fees, housing, meals, books and other educational expenses for four years. Additionally, recipients will receive a one-time study abroad scholarship and have the opportunity to develop leadership skills while participating in The Honors College at OSU.
